About us
A collective of compassionate practitioners providing personalized care
Our mission
Northwest Life Medicine Clinic provides naturopathic health care, mind-body wellness coaching, and education for busy people who want to live well.
our story
Hi, I’m Dr. Jenna Jorgensen, Founder & Naturopathic Physician at Northwest Life Medicine Clinic. I’m honored you’re here.
I founded this clinic with the belief that everyone can heal. After shadowing a Physician’s Assistant in college, I saw how little time was available with each patient and how that shifted the focus to medicating symptoms instead of digging into root causes. I knew I wanted to practice differently.
I wanted to blend my community health education background with a medical practice, and naturopathic medicine has given me the tools to do just that through personalized treatment plans and a strong emphasis on education as empowerment.
Our bodies have one job—to heal. If we can learn to remove the obstacles that prevent efficient healing while providing the building blocks for recovery, we can all create sustainable wellness.
Helping patients heal is no small task, so I’ve cultivated a collective of compassionate, brilliant team members who share one goal: To help folks heal at a foundational level—through Environment, Lifestyle, and Mind.
So, welcome! Take a look around. We look forward to helping you on your health journey.

Dr. Jenna Jorgensen | Founder and Naturopathic Physician
Optimistic Environmentalist | Novice Urban Farmer | Bicycle Commuter
I consider the work I do as a naturopathic physician an art form. I’m a strategist for your well-being, collaborating with you to find the root cause of your dis-ease and coming up with a plan to address that cause that fits into your life.
The beauty of naturopathic medicine is that we have the space and grace to spend the time necessary to identify Environmental, Lifestyle, and Mind obstacles that could be keeping the body from healing. Our toolbox is expansive, and there is always something more we can try. When I can articulate this to patients well, and they leave my office feeling heard and hopeful, I feel like I’ve done my job.
Dr. Melissa Manda | Naturopathic Physician

I view health as freedom. My aim as a naturopathic physician is to help you feel empowered in your quest for health so you can live fully and with vitality. I will collaborate with you to discover the underlying cause of your health concerns and to choose the tools that will make the biggest impact in a way that is practical and sustainable. I love what I do and consider it an honor and a privilege to be a part of your health journey.
As a former competitive athlete, I was always interested in what we can do to allow the body to function optimally through nutrition and other tools. I had always wanted to be a family doctor, so when I learned about naturopathic medicine, I realized I could be the kind of doctor I wanted to be, combining modern diagnostics and technology with tried and true healing tools and practices.
Dr. Alexandra Owen | Naturopathic Physician
Music Enthusiast | WNBA Fan | International Explorer
Providing naturopathic primary care to the whole family is my passion. Optimal health starts when small changes are implemented early in childhood and built upon throughout every stage of life. I enjoy integrating conventional medicine with traditional naturopathic philosophy and therapeutics to create individualized care for each patient.
Growing up on an island in Southeast Alaska showed me the importance of nurturing our environment and our community, and inspired a love for the outdoors. These are principals that drew me to the practice of naturopathic medicine and ones I continue to live by. I hope to inspire my patients to do the same. In each visit I strive to meet the patient where they are on their own health journey in order to create sustainable changes that lead to long term health.
Ruth Droullard | Neurofeedback Practitioner
Nurturer | Islander | Storyteller
I believe our minds want to be resilient, stable, and calm. My goal is to offer a safe and peaceful presence that encourages distracted, anxious, troubled minds toward flexible resiliency. I provide a nurturing environment where your nervous system can rest into its healing work. Neurofeedback is a faithful tool that provides your brain the opportunity to see itself and grow in these ways.
Angie Van De Mark | Neurofeedback Practitioner + Sound Therapist
Musician | Agate Hunter | Laughter Lover
I am fascinated by the mind and what it means to be human.
I believe that a flourishing mind is a mind that is curious, resilient, and bravely integrated. My goal is to offer a safe, accepting, rewarding, and joyful space for the mind and brain to develop flexibility, adaptability, and cohesion. Neurofeedback provides us with a wonderful opportunity to encourage this type of growth.

As a conservatory-trained pianist, I deeply understand the powerful impact of music, sound and vibration. 20 years of experience as a private music instructor has given me tangible and heart-felt wisdom on the beautiful role music (sound and vibration) has in promoting wellbeing, engaging the entire self, and nurturing delight. My own studies and life-experiences have taken me on a deeply satisfying journey exploring the relationship between sound and health. I’m honored to provide a gentle, centering, and healing space for your body, mind, and heart through this beautiful modality.
Anne Treat | Clinic DIRECTOR | WELLNESS COACH
Culinary Adventurer | Beekeeper | Hiker
I love working with individuals, teams, and systems to make them stronger, more resilient, effective, and whole. As the Clinic Director at Northwest Life Medicine, I support our team to evolve and vision our collective direction, and we work together to actualize our goals. As a Wellness Coach and Care Coordinator for the Life Medicine Plan, I have a similar opportunity with our patients--offering encouragement, motivation, and support towards their individual lifestyle and health goals. Participating in the transformations of our patients as they regain vitality and wellness is intensely gratifying.
Guest Practitioners
When we find exceptional practitioners, we like to welcome them to our practice for a short term to help make them more accessible to our patients. Life Medicine Plan members can use guest services for flex visits as a part of their plan, and anyone can access these services as well by scheduling with our front desk.
Anneka Deacon | Massage Therapist
With attuned focus and an intuitive touch, it is my honor to guide clients through their journey of clearing blocks and restrictions and supporting greater freedom and flow through the body. Sessions may include an integrated blend of techniques to support current needs and concerns, from focus treatment work to pure blissful relaxation massage. I specialize in supporting reproductive health through all phases of life, with a focus around pregnancy and birth. I offer specialized sessions for reproductive and digestive health and am able to provide a safe and gentle space and pacing for clients who have experienced past trauma. Whether you arrive with a specific goal or you simply want support to relax and de-stress, I am happy to be of service to you.
Joseph Kairos | Massage Therapist
Since 2005, I’ve helped clients recover from injuries, chronic pain, and simply (deeply) relax. I specialize in injury recovery massage, prenatal, abdominal massage, manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), deep tissue/myofascial and general relaxation massage.
My massage work tends to be deep and insightful towards what the individual needs; it has been described as deep tissue/myofascial release with an energetic focus. I believe that slow, long movements and the use of a variety of different massage techniques help the muscles accept a deeper level of body work. I use my intuition and knowledge, within the specific requests of each client, to offer the best possible outcome of each session.
Abigail Branch | Personal Trainer
Having spent over 14 years in the health & fitness industry, I bring a diverse experience of supporting and nurturing women's health, including autoimmune disorders, physical therapy, women's weight loss, prenatal/postnatal fitness and health, fitness and yoga class instruction, and personal training. My particular focus on women's health began in 2010, when I worked as an intern at a women's weight loss retreat center in Vermont. After I became certified as an Exercise Physiologist, I moved to Atlanta, GA and worked at the CDC as a Health Fitness Specialist. In 2012, I moved back to my home city, Nashville, TN, and worked in physical therapy as an Exercise Physiologist. I also decided to offer in-home personal training and teach fitness classes part time, which then became full time. I wanted to pursue specifically women in the fitness industry, as I believe they have been at a disadvantage for decades. In the fall of 2015, my husband Wesley and I decided to venture west to Bellingham, WA. After having our two girls, Rosalyn and Emma, I was diagnosed with the autoimmune disorder, Hashimoto's, and hypothyroidism. I've spent the last four years dialing in my own health, along with doing extra research and education on autoimmune disorders, insulin, blood sugar balancing, and weight loss. As a family and with our dog Pip, we love going on adventures like hiking, camping, and low tide exploring.
